How to start building healthy habits?
What all the successful people do this and why you should too
Wait, this is not a click-bait
I won't list shortcut methods of the" get rich quick" scheme.
What is your version of successful?
-lots of money
-traveling
-being with family
-fame
-getting into relationships
-career
All of these things you can enjoy only when you are healthy
When I say healthy, people interpret it as many things.
Especially when I say physical health, it doesn't mean having six packs and walking around wearing a crop top.
Goals are never-ending.
Because by the time you reach the goal(or not), you probably start to think of the next goal you want to hit.
That's why I focus on building habits.
There are 3 MAIN factors to look for in terms of physical health:
→Sleep
→Nutrition
→exercise
As James Clear said in Atomic habits,
A> make the habits easy so that it doesn't require any effort
B> combining it with a habit you already do
Sleep
-Start with taking (minimum)2 mins before bed, give yourself time away from screens, and do something else(brushing/reading)
2 mins seem like nothing.
Right? That's the point.
It should feel like that in the beginning.
Slowly increase the time.
-if you brush your teeth before bed, then add 2 mins of breath work before sleep
Nutrition
-Start with swapping one snack with a fruit(prefer in the morning)
-Keep a water bottle near your bed. So when you wake up, you can practice drinking water
Exercise
-Do a workout for just 5 mins(not more than that). You don't want to make it intimidating in the beginning
-After dinner, walk till you finish an episode.
I know people in their 20s and even 30s don't care about their health because you can eat or do anything, and you seem fine until your body keeps up.
Why is everyone saying to work out and eat healthy everywhere?
Because nobody does it
It's easy to binge-watch episodes,
That's why nobody says that
