Why shift to organic when it is costly?
( This is how desperate I am about healthy lifestyle👀)

“Eating Mc Donald’s or Subway, I can never say goodbye to it. Why should I? It’s cheap, tasty, and even though it's refined it doesn’t cause anything to my body I am perfectly fine and if a product has chemicals doesn’t mean it is bad for you, even water(h2o) has chemicals in it. Don’t tell me I should stop drinking that.” This is exactly what my parents said when I said let’s shift to organic food from now on.
Don’t worry, I am not saying all chemicals are bad but cheap chemicals which the brands use are very bad for our bodies. Brands are like: “I am going to make lots of money, I AM RICHHHH!”
Fun fact: You know human bodies are meant to live for 100 years. That is why we say a shift to organic foods because even though you are fine now, within 30 yrs. of age you will end up eating medicines equivalent to foods or worst case, end up with an incurable disease
Just like how we ignore red flags in a relationship, we also ignore the red flags that our body gives us before it gives up on us, like bloating, pimples, constipation are all red flags it shows which leads to cancer sometimes. I always believed prevention is better than cure. Ok let me stop here, I can give you all the advice in the world but do I follow it…hmm…I so badly want to follow it, let’s be honest here I don’t want to stay YES, I follow a perfectly healthy lifestyle. I mean I wish I could but, I can’t afford organic food because it is costly and not easily available.
BUT I DIDN’T GIVE UP!
I mean I do want to live a healthy lifestyle because a healthy body is a healthy mind or is it the reverse I mean the whole body is connected idk, whatever, please don’t judge my bad English here. Coming back to the point, I made my food taste extremely good like REALLY good, but many of us don’t like to cook right? No problem, I am lazy too, I can’t stay in the kitchen for more than 10 mins., I look up for simple dishes which don’t take much time. I wash my vegetables and fruits in baking soda and it takes away most pesticides and I peel off the skin if it contains wax and when I wanted snacks I made homemade, like a DIY queen (lol), looking at ingredients before buying. You get what I am saying. Just small steps at a time towards healthy living.
I am honestly still learning, I am not completely living a healthy lifestyle but at least I try. Does that count?
Thanks for writing this !
