How to boost your moood?

Some days we feel annoyed and upset with ourselves. It is part of us, being human beings. But being in a temporary bad mood shouldn't spoil our entire day. I love being happy and energetic. It makes me feel confident and goofy. I love myself when I am that way. So why should I let a bad mood spoil my day? I realized I follow certain habits daily. On days where I don't, I feel sluggish and unmotivated.
I will suggest some tips to help you lift your mood quickly.
Tips that helped me lift my mood:
1. Exercise:
A short 15 min sweaty workout will 100% help you get happy again. One is it gives a sense of accomplishment. Second, it releases feel-good hormones.
They said you don't regret doing a workout. You regret not doing one.
2. Walking in the sun:
Some people in their 30s and 40s feel overwhelmed to exercise because of the risk of getting injured. It's not true because they can still lift heavy๐ช with the help of PT(personal trainer). But, not everyone wishes to go to a gym or hire a PT. So for them walking is the best. Walking in nature is best. Especially early morning walks ๐ with the sound of trees and birds chirping. Wow, it truly is bliss. Everyone should try it.
3. Positive self-talk:
Do you want any hacks to lift your mood instantly?
Smile in front of the mirror and wish yourself a good day. It may sound silly. But smiling at yourself lifts your mood and changes the way you look at yourself(in a good way tho)
4. Dancing:
I don't know to dance atol. Trust me when I say that. It's not like summa low self-esteem issues. Do you want to hear a story?
I secretly have an account where I post viral reel dance, along with my cousin. It started as a parody. Now we started enjoying it and made it a ritual. Being goofy and moving my body helps me lift my mood.
5. Stretching:
Remember sleeping on freshly washed clothes?๐ (don't mention it to my mom, but I love to do it) That's how stretching feels. Relaxing your muscles and increasing the blood flow make you as relaxed and cozy as those fresh clothes do.
6. Waking up early:
What? You didn't expect that, didn't you?
I promise it's a life-changer for me. When I wake up early, I am most happy and productive. I drink my hot water slowly, sip by sip, and daydream. Starting your day slow and relaxed sets the mood for the entire day
7. Talking to a friend:
Call up a friend and talk to them about anything under the sun. Laugh together. Ask them about their day. It sure makes you happy. Sometimes I feel grumpy during college classes. My friends understand my mood and cheer me up.
8. Complimenting/helping others:
They say help others to help yourself. That stands true in this case. Compliment your mom for cooking delicious meals. Help someone without expecting anything in return. Seeing their happy face will make us happy.
9. Crying:
Nothing works out? Just cry your eyes out. It will help you lift your mood.
