How does your body talk to you?

Just like a Mobile company sends a constant notification when you haven't paid the bill, our body also sends us a signal to tell us something is wrong with the body.

It starts (at the beginning) like sneezing, coughing, fatigue. But later, it aggravates and turns out very serious.

The signs I mentioned below may seem insignificant and ignored most of all. But it needs your attention before it turns into something serious.

1. Desire to eat ice:

Ice does not come under real food. Don't say, "I eat shaved ice. Is that real food?"

What I am talking about right now is the urge to eat ice often.

It can be due to iron deficiency. So when you cure it, the urge to eat ice naturally goes away.

So how to cure iron deficiency? Eat iron-riched foods like dark leafy vegetables, pomegranate, carrot, etc.

The materials in a wok(Kadai) used for cooking get absorbed into the body through the food. So use an iron wok for cooking.

2. Itchy scalp

You might get an itchy scalp when you sweat a lot or when dirt gets accumulated into the hair follicles. But even after taking a head bath, you have an itchy scalp. Let's exclude the possibility of lice and nites.

It might be due to the dryness of the scalp. Apply oil on your head before taking a bath. Do that 2 to 3 times a week. Avoid eating raw foods or sour foods. Include ghee and use cold-pressed oil for cooking.

3. Constipation:

It can cause gas and irregular bowel movements. It can be due to many factors.

Start including seasonal fruits and vegetables into the diet. Include 2 to 3 tsp of ghee in your diet.

Avoid tea, coffee, leftover foods kept in the fridge. Massage your body with oil before bathing.

4. Mouth ulcer:

When there is any problem with the intestine, the body indicates through mouth ulcers.

The problem arises from eating the wrong foods that affect the gut.

Eat seasonal fruits, cucumber, and coconut water.

Avoid spicy foods.

Drink hot water. Drink hot water with ghee on an empty stomach which helps with bowel movements.

5. Frequent anger:

"Ugh! You are so irritating. You can't do one thing right."

"You spilled chutney on my shoes. Who's going to clean it?

Are you one of those people who get angry quite often?

Is it part of your personality?

Do you know it is not normal?

It can be due to your habits on a day-to-day basis.

Waking up late and eating spicy foods are a few reasons for frequent anger.

(they say Telugu people get angry quickly. Is it because they consume too much mirchi?)

Eat sweets made from jaggery, meditate, do yoga, seasonal fruits, bitter foods.

My mom used to say drinking rice water is good for health.

When you have heat in the body, drink a glass of rice water( used to soak the rice). It helps to cool the body

6. Drooling:

Drooling happens when you sleep with your mouth open.

It is not normal. It doesn't indicate you have had a deep sleep.

Why do we sleep with our mouths open? Because our nose is blocked.

That means you have to limit cooling foods like cucumber, watermelon, etc. Don't eat fruits post-sunset.

Eat sour foods. Use mustard oil for cooking. Avoid eating sweets

P.s If you notice, the symptoms will be different, but the treatment for it may seem irrelevant. That's because I believe in treating any symptom holistically. Rather than just treating the surface level, we should dig deep to solve the root cause.
