Read this if you are feeling sick often

It is what HR is going to say to me when I take time out to watch PS1

 

Even though you fooled everybody to watch a movie

 

Its monsoon season

You are bound to get sick



 Eating wholesome foods, still getting sick?

 

Then you must be making some mistakes.

 

Here are some mistakes most people do ↓


1. Drinking cold beverages along with hot food

Foods take different times to get digested

Hot foods faster and,

cold foods slower

So if you combine them, some of the foods might get undigested.

 



2. Frozen foods

I am talking about the ready-to-eat foods

 



Yes, This one. 

They are like assisted cooking. 

Step 1: You open them. 

Step 2: Put it on the stove.

Step 3: 

Your food is ready.

You can think, "If I can get ready my food in 10 mins, it is a life changer for me ."

BUT,

-even though you freeze foods, some foodborne pathogens(which cause harm to your body)survive the freezing process


-Before the food is frozen, it is blanched(putting it in hot water for a few minutes).

Blanching helps inactivate the enzyme that spoiling of foods.

When it is frozen, it decreases folate(B vitamins). Folate prevents the risk of diseases like cardiovascular disease and colon cancer in the body.


3. Processed food


The unprocessed foods don't have nutritional content. So even when you eat the same calories you usually eat, you won't get the energy. 

Instead, you feel drained/lethargic only.

Plus, it's hard to stop craving processed foods because sugar and fats are addictive.
